PADI Advanced Open Water

You don't have to be "advanced" to take the Advanced Open Water Diver course - but it is designed to advance your diving skills, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Diver certificaiton.  The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is meant to develop your skills underwater while giving you a taste of some of the most popular specialty diver courses. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives (it's like a specialty sampler platter!). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward that PADI® specialty certification.

Class times are subject to change.

Complete Advanced Open Water Course

$325

This is a perfect course for any NEW diver, or any diver looking to ADVANCE their skills!  In The Open Water Diver Course, you learn the basics of how to scuba dive, but in this course, you enhance your skills, and learn how to think and act like a diver.  The Advanced Open Water Course helps you build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives.  This course is fairly easy to complete as it only consists of 5 different adventure dives (the first dive of a specialty course) and spans over two days.  Even though there isn't a "classroom session", you are required to complete a knowledge review for each dive.  Your instructor will go over each review prior to getting in the water.

If you are interested in any of the adventure dives, you can pursue them further by taking the specialty course associated with that specific dive.  Remember, by completing the Advanced Open Water Course, you have already completed the first dive in that specialty course.

Two required dives of the five adventure dives in this course are The Deep Dive and The Underwater Navigation Dive.  We will then typically do Peak Performance Buoyancy, Rescue Diving, and Wreck Diving as the three remaining adventure dives. Upon completing this course you will be certified to dive up to a depth of 100ft and get a taste for what other specialities have to offer.

During the Advanced Open Water course you'll work on improving your bouyancy, learn to use a compass to navigate underwater and explore below 60ft!

Includes:

This course includes five adventure dives, Advanced Open Water Diver manual & DVD, and all certification fees.
Scuba gear is not included for this course. Should you need rental gear for this class we have a package deal available HERE to add onto your course.
