Join us for another Land & Sea Expedition to Dumaguete & Tubbataha!  March 3-15, 2025

Our trip begins in Manila, where the Atlantis resort with arrange our airfare and transfers to their wonderful, full-service resort in Dumaguete.  The diving here is so different from what you will experience in the Caribbean…much of the diving is “muck” diving where we will be introduced to a breathtaking array of small creatures most divers would miss without a guide.  Octopus, cuttlefish, juvenile frogfish…you never know what we will find!  We also have one day trip scheduled where we will dive a more traditional reef systems with lunch included on the boat.  And while at the Atlantis Resort you will treated with up to 3 meals per day, and up to 4 dives per day…a perfect way to vacation…eat, sleep and dive…

On our second leg of our Philippines adventure, we head to Tubbataha!  What and where is Tubbataha?  Tubbataha is a remote series of atolls with spectacular reefs in the Sulu Sea.  This reef system is so unique that it has been named an UNESCO World Heritage Site (just like the Galapagos), and is only open to divers a few months each year!!

We will explore Tubbataha onboard the luxury liveaboard, the Azores. This 107 ft yacht offers staterooms for up to 16 divers, with a large dive deck, camera table, galley, salon, and sun deck.  While onboard the Azores, all your meals are included, plus snacks are readily available throughout the day.  The diving in Tubbataha is very different from Dumaguete…here our dive sites will offer spectacular coral, walls, and this portion of the trip will focus on larger animals life.  Imagine yourself surrounded by pristine hard corals as far as the eyes can see, dramatic drop offs, thousands of reef fish, sharks & rays cruising by, with the occasional whaleshark, and manta ray!  Anything is possible in Tubbataha!

Upon completion of our excursion to Tubbataha, we will return to Puerto Princessa, where the Azores/Atlantis staff will bring us back to the airport for the return flight to Manila, and eventually we will head back home.

Needless to say, this is one of those epic dive trips, that should not be missed!

[This trip does not include international airfare or hotel in Manila.  March 3-15 are the days we will be at the Atlantis Resort or the Azores Liveaboard. Travelers need to be in Manila in time for an early morning flight on March 3rd from Manila to Dumaguete.  We strongly suggest coming into Manila 1-2 days early and staying at the Belmont Hotel which is the only hotel attached to the airport
