Join us for a trip of a lifetime to the island of Cuba!
Why dive Cuba?? Jardines de la Reina Marine Park (Gardens of the Queen) is home to the the third largest reef in the world. The park’s Blue Sanctuary sustainability management program has resulted in limited access by man.
As a protected environment, underwater creatures including six species of sharks and numerous colorful corals – some of which once thought to be lost – have been able to thrive and flourish. Fish grow to adulthood, including goliath grouper and tarpon, among many other species. Only accessible by scuba diving liveaboard, Jardines de la Reina is one of the top dive liveaboard destinations in the world.
It is legal for Americans to travel to and dive in Cuba under our Blue Sanctuary program. Divers tell us that Cuba’s Blue Sanctuary program provides an exceptional liveaboard diving experience closer to home. Our Cuba Expedition will includes 7 nights on boat the Jardine IV liveaboard where we can dive up to 4 times per day on diving days (tanks, weights & dive guide included), snorkel with saltwater crocodiles, plus all our meals are included! All diving is done off skiffs with a maxium of 6 divers to one guide. And no more than 12 divers at any one dive site.
And no Cuba vacation is complete without a visit to its famous capitol city, Havana. Historic sites, local art, and delicious food and drinks are all just a few minutes’ drive from each other. Our trip includes a wonderful 4 day/3 night stay in Havana (with our own personal tour guide) followed by a tour of the countryside on our way to our liveaboard. Our land tour includes airport transfers upon arrival, local accommodations, air conditioned bus transportation, visit to Revolution Square, cocktail making class, walking tour of Old Havana, visits to local musicians & artists, coco-taxi tour of Old Havana, visit to a classic car restoration workshop, and more!
