Imagine diving on a 600 ft Great Lake freighter, or exploring a schooner built in 1848?  This is just a sample of the shipwrecks that are available in the Straits of Mackinac!  Plus they recently found a NEW shipwreck in about 110ft of water that will be buoyed and available to dive!  This area has so many wonderful shipwrecks that are mostly intact!

Advanced Open Water certification or higher is required, and you must have previous deep (60ft+), cold water diving experience.  Most of these wrecks will be in the 70-130 foot range.  Visibility is usually outstanding, and this is a great location to bring your camera!

When we are not diving, St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, and Mackinaw City offers so many different activities and sights to go see...

You can take the ferry to Mackinac Island and tour the fort along with the rest of the island, tour the Ice Breaker Mackinaw, checkout the dozens upon dozens of Fudge shops (all offering free samples!), Salt Water Taffy shops, the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, along with some incredible ice cream shops too!  

If you are looking to complete a PADI course, the Straits of Mackinac is a fantastic place to earn your Boat Diver, Deep Diver, or Wreck Diver certifications!
